Challenge

Being one of the biggest worldwide company, means managing thousands of employees on a daily basis. Sometimes this can be a hard task, specially when in need of deploying global strategies. 

BP had a clear goal, use mobile technology to digitize processes so they could:

• Improve reliability and the efficiency of technicians and more importantly,
the safety of critical tasks.

• Provide access to the latest EX rated mobile technology to access digitalised core processes so that our teams can execute work more efficiently and eliminate administrative pain.

Solution

By integrating different applications and services, which included Service Cloud and Field Service Lighting,  Nubessom created a robust and agile solution that could schedules equipment checks, records parameters and flags early identification of potential failures.

The solution also allows data sharing with PI Vision enabling trending and analytics of the equipment status.

This allowed BP not only to save time by eliminating paper and reduce waiting, but also reduces failures with early id, fix and fault mitigation.

Results

With Operator WorkBench (OWB) platform, BP is saving more than 60% in hours with this new implementation and has given their employees better and faster safety procedures. 

Also improved considerably the speed and efficiency for employees to access information by completing more than 100.000 tasks already.

This project involved a collection of various applications and services combined in one power mobile device, in which Salesforce was included.
